The case for Hilton is simple enough. He has obvious talent, and there’s a real argument that he might be the most gifted receiver on the roster.
Last season, as a true freshman, he was still figuring out how to earn reps and trust himself in the role. This year, the sophomore looks like a player who wants the ball and expects to get it.
The clips backing up the hype have only strengthened that impression. Hilton’s chemistry with Joseph has shown up repeatedly, and the social team’s “Full bars for this connection” post felt less like a random montage and more like a pointed nod to what’s happening in camp.
