The Wisconsin Badgers are making waves in the 2027 recruiting class by securing their homegrown talent. With five local prospects already committed, Wisconsin is strengthening its ranks and climbing the recruiting charts.
The latest addition is Cole Reiter, a four-star offensive tackle from Germantown, Wisconsin. Ranked as the No. 155 player nationally and the third-highest in the state by 247Sports, Reiter's commitment is a significant win for the Badgers.
Reiter expressed his excitement about joining a strong group of in-state recruits, saying, "Being a part of the big class of in-state commits, I feel like I don't know how long it's been since Wisconsin had this many in-state kids commit. I think that is awesome."
Reiter joins fellow in-state Top247 prospect, four-star tight end Korz Loken, in Wisconsin's 2027 class. Their commitments are already elevating the Badgers' national profile in recruiting.
With these additions, Wisconsin has jumped to No. 20 in the 247Sports team recruiting rankings and holds the No. 7 spot in the Big Ten. The class boasts an average player rating of 89.47, featuring two four-stars and three three-stars.
The recruiting season is just getting started for the Badgers, and they have their eyes set on more local talent. Prospects like four-star running back Kingston Allen and three-star offensive linemen Hunter and Reece Mallinger are still on their radar, promising more excitement to come.
