Wisconsin is opening part of its fall camp to the public, giving fans a free look at the Badgers as they begin work for the 2026 season.
The team is one day away from the start of fall camp and has 15 practices scheduled across August before turning its attention to the Week 1 matchup against Notre Dame at Lambeau Field on September 6.
UW Athletics announced that the public practice, presented by Culver’s, will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18 at Camp Randall Stadium.
“With fall camp practices beginning this week, Wisconsin Football has announced a public practice presented by Culver’s set for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18 at Camp Randall Stadium. The public practice under the lights will provide fans with a preview of the 2026 season,” UW Athletics shared.
The school said the event will give fans a chance to watch Wisconsin prepare for the opener against Notre Dame at Lambeau Field on Sept. 6. The Badgers’ 2026 roster includes returners from a 2025 team that beat a pair of ranked opponents at Camp Randall last November.
Wisconsin also brought in a group of transfers, highlighted by quarterback Colton Joseph from Old Dominion, who was named the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year last fall. Those new pieces will be working alongside the rest of the roster this August as Luke Fickell enters his fourth season as head coach.
Wisconsin has typically held an open spring practice for fans, and now it will also give the public a chance to watch one fall practice as well.
