Packers Fans Stunned By New Super Bowl Odds

With the 2026 season on the horizon, the Packers find themselves among early Super Bowl contenders-fueling high expectations and familiar pressure in Green Bay.

The NFL season may be over, but the road to Super Bowl LXI is already taking shape-and the Green Bay Packers are firmly in the conversation.

While the Seattle Seahawks hoisted the Lombardi Trophy this year under the leadership of GM John Schneider, a former Packers executive, Green Bay is setting its sights on reclaiming the spotlight in 2026. Schneider wasn’t the only ex-Packer in the big game-Eliot Wolf, another former Green Bay front-office mind, also had a hand in guiding his team to the Super Bowl. But it was Schneider’s Seahawks who came out on top in a defense-heavy showdown.

Now, the focus shifts to what’s next. Packers Chief Operating Officer Ed Policy made it clear: the expectation in Green Bay is a return to the Super Bowl. General Manager Brian Gutekunst believed this past season’s roster had the talent to make a deep run-and while it didn’t materialize, the foundation remains strong heading into the offseason.

And Vegas agrees. Sportsbooks already have Green Bay listed among the top contenders to win it all next season. According to the latest odds from DraftKings, the Packers sit tied for the fourth-best chance to win Super Bowl LXI, coming in at +1400 alongside the Detroit Lions.

Here’s how the early odds stack up:

  • Seahawks: +950
  • Rams: +950
  • Bills: +1100
  • Ravens: +1300
  • Eagles: +1300
  • Patriots: +1300
  • Packers: +1400
  • Lions: +1400
  • Chargers: +1500
  • Chiefs: +1500
  • 49ers: +1700

The Seahawks and Rams lead the pack at +950, and it’s worth noting that Super Bowl LXI will be played in Los Angeles-potentially giving the Rams a home-field advantage if they can get there. The Bills, now with former Wisconsin Badgers interim head coach Jim Leonhard running their defense, are right behind at +1100.

The Ravens, Eagles, and Patriots are all clustered at +1300, with Philadelphia having recently added a familiar face to Packers fans-former Green Bay quarterbacks coach Sean Mannion is now the Eagles' offensive coordinator.

As for the Packers, they’re tied with a division rival in the Lions, who finished 9-8 and missed the playoffs this past season. But for Green Bay, there’s a different energy heading into 2026. Jordan Love showed flashes of brilliance and growth throughout the year, and the buzz around Lambeau is that he could be ready to take the next step.

With Super Bowl LXI falling on Valentine’s Day next year, Packers fans are already dreaming up the perfect love story-Jordan Love delivering Green Bay its fifth Lombardi Trophy and walking away with Super Bowl MVP honors.

Of course, there's a long road between February dreams and February reality. The offseason will be critical. Roster moves, draft decisions, and internal development will all shape whether the Packers can live up to the hype.

But make no mistake-Green Bay is back in the hunt. And if they can build on the momentum they’ve created, don’t be surprised if they’re playing deep into next winter.
