Moose 2026 27 Schedule Is Out And Winnipeg Can Start Planning

The Manitoba Moose are set for an exciting 2026-27 season with 72 games, fan-favorite theme nights, and expanded school programs.

The Manitoba Moose will open the 2026-27 regular season at home, and the first two games on the calendar come with a familiar look.

The Moose and the American Hockey League announced the club’s 72-game schedule on Saturday, with Manitoba set to begin the season on Oct. 3 at Canada Life Centre against the Chicago Wolves. The rivals meet again in Winnipeg the next day, Oct. 4, before the Moose head out for their first road trip of the year on Oct. 9 against the Grand Rapids Griffins.

The regular season wraps up on April 11, when Manitoba hosts Grand Rapids on Fan Appreciation Day.

The home slate includes several of the club’s recurring theme nights. New Year’s Eve returns on Dec. 31 with a game against the Abbotsford Canucks, and Super Hero Day is scheduled for Feb. 15 when the Moose face the Laval Rocket. The full promotional schedule is still to come later this summer.

Manitoba will see 12 different opponents during the season, including its first matchup with the Bakersfield Condors since the 2018-19 season. The Moose are also set for 20 all-Canadian games, with the Canucks, Rocket, Belleville Senators, Calgary Wranglers and defending Calder Cup champion Toronto Marlies all visiting Canada Life Centre.

There are 28 home dates on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or holidays, and the schedule also features 18 afternoon games at 2 p.m. for families. The Project 11 School Day game program grows to three games this season, with 10:30 a.m. starts on Nov. 24 against Grand Rapids, Dec. 16 against the Rockford IceHogs and March 4 against Chicago.
