The Big 12 Men's Basketball awards have just been announced, marking the end of an exciting regular season. For the Mountaineers, who wrapped up the season in seventh place, there's a spotlight on senior guard Honor Huff, who earned an honorable mention on the All-Big 12 list.

Huff has been a standout performer, averaging 15.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. His sharpshooting skills were on full display as he nailed over 100 three-pointers this season, boasting a 35.3 percent success rate from beyond the arc. This achievement places him second in West Virginia University's history for most threes in a single season, just behind Frank Young.

Huff's journey to West Virginia is a testament to his growth and adaptability. He kicked off his collegiate career at VMI, where he made an immediate impact by averaging 10 points per game as a freshman. His next stop was Chattanooga, where he truly hit his stride, averaging 16.3 points per game over two seasons and leading the nation in three-pointers made in 2024.

Now, in his final year at West Virginia, Huff has been a consistent starter in all 31 games, bringing his experience and scoring prowess to the court. As the Mountaineers gear up for the Big 12 tournament, they'll be facing off against the winner of the BYU-Kansas State matchup on Wednesday. Huff's performance will undoubtedly be crucial as they aim to make a deep run in the tournament.
