LeBron Sends Clear Message After Lakers Win

LeBron James, at 41, continues to defy age, showcasing his on-court brilliance and familial pride in the Lakers' victory over the Wizards.

The Los Angeles Lakers showcased their trademark professionalism in a solid win, underscoring their ability to perform no matter the opponent. On Monday, LeBron James tied the wins record for combined playoff and regular season victories against the Washington Wizards. At 41, James notched yet another triple-double-his third of the season and 125th of his illustrious career-demonstrating the relentless work ethic that continues to define him.

Luke Kennard was a sharpshooter, contributing 19 points with his usual precision.

“Our Bigs were outstanding, going 13 for 13 from the floor,” James noted. “They grabbed 14 rebounds, blocked five shots, and even hit a three-pointer.”

Reflecting on his achievements, James said, "It’s pretty cool to know I’m still able to do these things at this point in my career. It’s humbling, and it’s the result of putting in the work."

Head coach JJ Redick praised Jaxson Hayes for his defensive prowess, particularly his verticality and positioning. Hayes has been diligent in his film study, honing his instincts and timing.

“If I get an open one, I’m going to shoot it,” Hayes remarked post-game. “I can’t just work on dunking all day, so I’ve got to expand my skills.”

LeBron James also shared his pride in his sons' recent achievements. Bronny James’ G-League team clinched the top seed, while Bryce’s Arizona Wildcats advanced to the Final Four. James watched both games simultaneously, celebrating their successes.

“My boy’s first year in college, making it to the Final Four, and Bronny just keeps getting better,” James said. “We’re a winning family, not just in sports, but in life. Everything else is just extra credit, and we’re grateful for it.”

Off the court, James has found a new passion in golf.

“I love the sport and the challenge it presents,” he shared. “In Orlando, we had a blast playing against the coaches. I never followed golf before, but now I’m really enjoying it.”

Looking ahead, the Lakers are gearing up to face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday.
