In a bold blend of tradition and innovation, Washington State mens basketball unveils a nostalgic new uniform line and fan apparel collection that honors campus landmarks and supports student-athletes.

Washington State Unveils Retro ‘Clock Tower Collection’ Uniforms Ahead of February 7 White Out Game

Washington State men’s basketball is turning back the clock in style.

On Tuesday morning, the Cougars unveiled the “Clock Tower Collection,” a limited-edition retro uniform and apparel line developed in partnership with Nike. The alternate white uniforms will make their on-court debut during WSU’s highly anticipated white out game against Santa Clara on February 7.

And this isn’t just about looking good under the lights - it’s a full-circle effort to support the program. After the game, the team will auction off the game-worn jerseys, with proceeds going directly to the WSU student-athlete NIL fund, giving fans a chance to own a piece of the action while backing the athletes who wear them.

The uniforms themselves are a nod to both tradition and identity. The white jerseys feature a bold Crimson arch across the chest with “Cougars” emblazoned above the player number - a classic, no-nonsense look that pops on the hardwood.

The matching shorts incorporate a unique skyline design that highlights Bryan Hall’s iconic Clock Tower - a campus landmark that’s instantly recognizable to anyone who’s spent time in Pullman. Thick Crimson trim around the collar and sleeves completes the look, giving the set a clean, throwback feel that blends history with modern flair.

“This is an exciting moment for Washington State,” said KC Smurthwaite, a consultant for Athletics Admin. “The Cougars have real momentum right now, and credit to Jon Haarlow and his team for putting both fans and student-athletes at the center of this initiative. There’s real potential for this to expand into other WSU athletic programs.”

The Clock Tower Collection doesn’t stop at the court. Fans can gear up with a full retail line that includes short- and long-sleeve t-shirts, hoodies, polos, and quarter-zip pullovers - all available starting Tuesday, January 20 at 10:15 a.m. through the official WSU Cougars online store and select retailers across Washington state.

For those eyeing the game-worn jerseys, bidding opens online on Thursday, February 5. It’s a rare opportunity to snag a one-of-a-kind piece of Cougar basketball history - and support NIL efforts in the process.

Washington State and Santa Clara will tip off at 3 p.m. on February 7 at Beasley Coliseum. With the Cougs decked out in fresh threads and the crowd expected to be a sea of white, it’s shaping up to be a special afternoon in Pullman.

Tickets are available now at wsucougars.com, and fans can stay plugged in by following WSU men’s basketball across social media for the latest updates.
