The outlet is teaming up with Capital Weather to deliver more timely and integrated forecast information for Washington Nationals fans throughout the season. When Capital Weather publishes a NatCast - its game-day forecast focused on Nationals Park and the chance for impactful weather - that information will be folded directly into The Nats Report’s coverage.
That means fans checking in for previews or live updates will also see the latest on possible delays, storms near first pitch, or changing conditions once the game gets underway.
The collaboration runs both ways. Capital Weather will also link back to The Nats Report’s game previews and coverage inside NatCast posts, giving fans a single place to follow both the forecast and the baseball.
NatCast is usually posted by around 11 a.m. ET on days when impactful weather is possible, giving fans an early read before they head to the ballpark or plan their day around the game. And if conditions shift later on, Capital Weather updates those posts with the latest information.
