Fredericksburg is headed to Wilson for the first time to face the Warbirds for six, including a matinee tomorrow. The Nationals split with Fayetteville, which marked the second time this season they failed to win a home series. Fredericksburg is 14-16 in the division, 2 games back, and 60-36 overall.
The DSL Nationals dropped a 6-4 decision to the Blue Jays Red, giving them their third straight loss after an early 3-0 lead slipped away. Ranger Sarit worked the first four innings and allowed two runs, one earned, on one hit and four walks, while also striking out four and hitting a batter. Daniel Nolasco took the loss after giving up a two-run homer in the eighth.
Samil Serrano had one of the few bright spots offensively, finishing 1-for-3 with a run, a walk, a stolen base, and an outfield assist at third. Acosta went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base. The D-Nats finished with four hits and five walks.
