Penn State’s Halloween date with Purdue comes with a price tag that looks a lot more like a weekday lunch than a Big Ten game. With the season going the way it has, that kind of bargain isn’t shocking.
Fans trying to get into Beaver Stadium for the Penn State-Purdue matchup can find tickets starting at $11 on StubHub. Vivid Seats has them from $11 as well, while SeatGeek is listing seats at $9. For a game between two 3-4 teams on Halloween, demand is understandably thin.
Penn State’s struggles under Matt Campbell’s first year have been well documented, and Purdue’s own season includes two Big Ten wins. Still, the Boilermakers haven’t beaten Penn State since 2004, when Purdue picked up the second of back-to-back wins and the later one came in State College. That history would make a home loss hard to picture for plenty of Nittany Lions fans, but as the source puts it, nothing is off the table until the final buzzer sounds.
Penn State enters Oct. 31 off a schedule that has already produced plenty of drama. The Nittany Lions opened with wins over Marshall, Temple and Buffalo before dropping four straight to Wisconsin, Northwestern, USC and Michigan. Now Purdue comes next, followed by games at Washington and at Maryland, plus home dates with Minnesota and Rutgers.

Washington Let Another Rivalry Lead Slip Away In Costly Fashion
An exhibition loss does not count in the standings, but it can still sting when it comes against a rival. Washington fell to Washington State, 84-80, in a game that offered an early look at where the Huskies are still sorting things out, especially with ball security and work on the glass. LeJuan Watts led Washington with 28 points, and Nikola Dzepina added a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
The bigger concern for the Huskies was how often the Cougars created extra chances, turning missed opportunities into pressure possessions that Washington could not quite clean up. For a team trying to build habits before the games start counting, that kind of edge in a rivalry setting is hard to ignore, and it leaves Washington with a few obvious areas to address before the rematch mindset comes into focus. Washingtons QB Decision Just Got Bigger Ahead Of Nebraska
Washingtons quarterback picture is getting more complicated by the week, and the next decision looms just in time for Nebraska. Demond Williams Jr. entered the year with plenty of attention after his earlier transfer considerations, but the competition in Montlake has shifted as the staff weighs what gives the Huskies the best chance to settle things down under center.
Elijah Brown has pushed himself into the conversation, and the coaching staff now has to sort out a choice that could shape the rest of the season. With several games still ahead, the Huskies are not just looking for a short-term fix, but for a quarterback option that can bring some stability to an offense still searching for the right fit. Washington Heads Into Nebraska With Big Questions Still Hanging
Washington used its bye week to reset, but Jedd Fisch still had plenty to sort through as the Huskies turn their attention to Nebraska. The head coach touched on a few areas that will shape the game plan, including the center spot, the health of key players and what Washington needs to account for against a Nebraska defense Fisch described as strong and disruptive.
The biggest questions remain at quarterback and in the backfield as the Huskies manage their injury picture and try to get everyone ready for the trip. Fisch also gave an update on several players working their way back, and the answers were not fully in hand yet, which leaves Washington carrying some uncertainty into a matchup that will demand clarity fast.
