This is a prime opportunity for Washington to host some top-tier prospects on campus for unofficial visits. Here's a look at a few standout recruits who have confirmed their attendance:
First up is Zane Rowe, a 4-star edge rusher from Denton Guyer HS in Texas. Rowe is a top 100 prospect for the 2027 class according to 247sports, and he's drawing national interest with offers from powerhouses like North Carolina, Oregon, Ohio State, and Oklahoma.
The Huskies are keen on making a splash in Texas, and landing Rowe would be a significant win. Keep an eye on his visit to UW-it's part of a crucial series of visits before his commitment announcement on March 13th.
Last season, Rowe tallied an impressive 72 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, and 8 sacks.
Next, we have Dontay Tyson, a 4-star wide receiver from Peoria HS in Arizona. Ranked as the 32nd best wide receiver in his class, Tyson's recruitment is heating up with interest from Arizona, Miami, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas, USC, and UW.
The Huskies have already secured a commitment from another Arizona standout, Zerek Sidney, and are hoping to add Tyson to their ranks. With a 6’1”, 190-pound frame and speed to burn, Tyson could be a future #1 receiver.
He recorded 448 yards and 7 touchdowns on 37 catches last season.
Elijah Kimble, a 3-star running back from Canisius HS in New York, is also a priority target making his way to Montlake. Kimble's talent is evident in his stats-over 1,700 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns last year, averaging 9 yards per carry. While the Huskies face stiff competition from Indiana, Miami, and North Carolina, getting Kimble on campus is a strategic win.
Finally, Lincoln Mageo, a 3-star offensive lineman from Oceanside HS in California, will be visiting. Ranked as the 29th best interior lineman for 2027, Mageo is considering Ohio State, Texas, UW, and Utah.
With a strong connection to the Huskies through former teammate Ezaya Tokio, Mageo's visit could be pivotal. At 6’4” and 280 pounds, he's a formidable presence on the line.
