Ephesians Prysock, the towering Washington cornerback, is making waves at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. Standing at over 6'3" and weighing 196 pounds, Prysock has the physical attributes that NFL general managers and defensive coordinators dream of.
The big question mark for him, much like his teammate Tacario Davis, was his speed in the 40-yard dash. Well, Prysock put those doubts to rest with an impressive 4.46-second sprint.
And that wasn't all. Prysock showcased his athletic prowess with a 39-inch vertical leap and a 10'4" broad jump, turning heads and solidifying his status as a top prospect.
His senior year at Washington was a standout, where he led his team with eight pass breakups, alongside 48 tackles and an interception. Over two seasons, he amassed 93 tackles, 14 pass breakups, and one interception, proving his consistency and skill.
Before his college success, Prysock was a lightly recruited talent from Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, California. He eventually found his way to Arizona, signing with Jedd Fisch and John Richardson in 2022, and racked up 77 tackles as a two-year starter for the Wildcats.
While many predict Prysock might be a third-day pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, his combine performance could boost him into the third round. Teams looking for a tall, experienced cornerback will surely have their eyes on him. The draft is set to unfold in Pittsburgh, and Prysock's name is one to watch.
