Commanders
The Commanders are making intriguing moves this offseason, and former Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis, who once coached at Arizona State, knows a thing or two about the talent they're eyeing. With Rachaad White already on board, there's buzz that his former college teammate, Brandon Aiyuk, might join him.
Lewis didn’t hold back his praise for White, highlighting his versatility and drive. “Rachaad is a really gifted player,” Lewis noted.
“He can catch, run, block, and was a great teammate. He felt a bit overlooked when Tampa drafted another back, but that’s the NFL.
Keep grinding, and things will fall into place.”
When it comes to Aiyuk, Lewis expressed a desire to help navigate his contract situation with the 49ers. “He’s made some tough decisions, walking away from money, and that’s hard.
The Commanders need to consider how he’ll fit in. You can’t have the highest-paid players at every position and expect success.
Play hard, and opportunities will follow.”
Cowboys
The Cowboys are shaking things up on defense by bringing in Christian Parker as their new defensive coordinator. Known for his clear-cut approach, Parker aims to eliminate any “gray area” that leads to miscommunication and sluggish play.
Safety P.J. Locke, who played under Parker in Denver, shared his admiration: “CP hates gray area.
It slows you down. He’s all about details and technique, and that’s what I love as a player.
He demands a lot but wants the best for you. Those tough conversations helped shape me.”
Meanwhile, SMU wide receivers Jordan Hudson and Romello Brinson caught the Cowboys’ eye, grabbing dinner with team officials after their pro day.
Eagles
The Eagles might have a rising star in linebacker Jihaad Campbell, according to Raiders LB Nakobe Dean. Dean sees immense potential in Campbell, who’s set to make waves in Philadelphia.
“Jihaad can be great,” Dean said. “He was on track for Defensive Rookie of the Year, and now he’s close to home, ready to meet high expectations.
With his size, length, and speed, he’s a three-down linebacker who can cover, blitz, and stop the run. His work ethic is off the charts.”
With such promising talent in the mix, the Eagles’ defense could be gearing up for something special.
