Capitals Set to Celebrate Fans with Exciting Fan Appreciation Week
The Washington Capitals are gearing up for their much-anticipated Fan Appreciation Week, presented by Michelob ULTRA, from April 6-12. This annual event is the Capitals' way of showing gratitude to their dedicated fans, culminating in a thrilling Fan Appreciation Night on April 12, when the Caps face off against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Capital One Arena.
Fan Appreciation Sweepstakes
Throughout the week, Caps fans have the chance to win a variety of prizes, from game tickets and team merchandise to autographed memorabilia and exclusive experiences. The grand prize?
A Golden Ticket that includes two seats for the April 12 game, a ride on the fan mobile during the second intermission, a team-signed jersey, and a meet-and-greet with Capitals alumni. Other prizes range from bobbleheads and autographed sticks to unique swag bags and more.
Fan Appreciation Night Festivities
On April 12, the Capitals will host a Fan Appreciation Block Party at District E from 1-3 p.m. Fans can enjoy food and drink specials, participate in giveaways, and groove to live music by local band Brisk. The event is free and open to the public, ensuring everyone can join in the fun.

Fans can snag some great deals at the Team Store, with 40% off select regular-priced apparel during the April 12 game. Additionally, the MedStar Capitals Iceplex store is offering discounts on last season’s merchandise, including Cherry Blossom items and the black screaming eagle jersey.
Jerseys Off Our Backs Ceremony
The highlight of the evening will be the Jerseys Off Our Backs ceremony. Each Capitals player will personally autograph and hand over their jersey to lucky pre-selected fans. This heartfelt tradition will be broadcasted by Monumental Sports Network, featuring one-on-one interviews with select players conducted by Capitals reporter Al Koken.
