Virginia Tech’s offense has also leaned on its backfield. Marcellous Hawkins and Jeffrey Overton Jr. have combined for 263 rushing yards and six touchdowns over the first two games. Through the air, tight end Luke Reynolds has been the team’s top scoring threat with three receiving touchdowns.
