Las Vegas hockey fans have a new way to try to get into T-Mobile Arena this fall: a library card.
The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is marking Library Card Sign-Up Month with a giveaway that lets both new and existing cardholders enter to win a pair of tickets to a Golden Knights or Las Vegas Raiders home game, plus a car pass for Glittering Lights, special “#GetCarded” T-shirts and other prizes, according to KSNV.
The entry window runs through Sept. 30, and anyone with a Library District card can take part. Winners will be chosen at random in October and contacted by email.
For people who still need a card, the process is straightforward. They can sign up at their local branch, or use the Library District’s Instant eCard through its website to get in on the promotion.
The timing lines up with the Golden Knights’ preseason schedule. Vegas will be at the San Jose Sharks on Sept. 22, then comes back home for its first preseason game at T-Mobile Arena against the Utah Mammoth on Sept.
