The Golden Knights are turning Nevada Day into a full afternoon of hockey, white jerseys and Silver State pride.
Friday’s matchup with the New Jersey Devils, set for 3 p.m. PT at T-Mobile Arena, is being billed as the team’s annual Nevada Day game and is presented by Travel Nevada.
The date ties directly to Nevada’s admission to the Union on Oct. 31, 1864, and Vegas will mark it on the ice by wearing its white jerseys. Fans are being asked to follow suit and show up in white as well.
The celebration starts before puck drop. At Paramount+ Plaza, fans will be able to shop the latest Golden Knights x VANS collection beginning at 10 a.m. PT, with additional VGK x VANS merchandise from Violent Gentleman also on sale.
The team is also putting specialty signed jerseys up for auction. Fans can get a preview of those items along the concourse near sections 11 and 12, and the proceeds will go to the VGK Foundation in support of its ongoing programming with the Clark County School District.
Nevada Day items will be available beyond the arena, too. T-shirts, pucks and other commemorative merchandise can be purchased at The Arsenal at City National Arena.
Travel Nevada has already added to the holiday theme with its “Ultimate Hockey Experience” sweepstakes. The prize package went to one lucky winner and three friends, who received tickets to Friday’s game, official Golden Knights jerseys, premium transportation to and from T-Mobile Arena and a chance to attend the postgame press conference.
With the Devils in town, a holiday crowd expected and a full slate of themed merchandise and fan events on deck, the Golden Knights are making this one feel bigger than a standard Friday matinee.

Golden Knights Just Teased Their Most Vegas Jersey Yet
The Golden Knights are leaning all the way into the citys identity with a first look at their upcoming Hometown Remix jerseys, a new alternate set built around a local-culture theme. The preview points to a look that fits Las Vegas as much as it does hockey, with the club joining an NHL and Fanatics initiative that is meant to spotlight the places teams call home.
The jersey will officially launch on Nov. 2, but the team has not said when it will actually show up in a game. For now, it is enough to know the Knights are preparing one of their most distinctly Vegas concepts yet, and the reveal leaves one of the biggest questions still hanging for fans who want to see it under the lights. Golden Knights Face A Costly Dylan Larkin Decision
Dylan Larkins situation in Detroit has quickly turned into one of the more intriguing trade-watch storylines around the league, and it naturally has the Golden Knights looking on with interest. Vegas has been linked to the idea of adding a player of his caliber, and any conversation like that immediately shifts from curiosity to cost, especially for a team that has never been shy about exploring aggressive moves when the fit is right.
The hard part for Vegas is what a deal would actually require. A package serious enough to get Detroits attention could force the Golden Knights to weigh young talent, roster pieces and future draft capital, with Trevor Connelly among the names that would have to enter the discussion. Nic Dowd, Adin Hill and picks have also been floated as part of the kind of framework that would make sense on paper, but for now it remains only a possibility, not a confirmed trade. [Read more 🡒]
Golden Knights Let Another Winnable Game Slip At Worst Time
The Golden Knights had enough chances to make a game of it against New Jersey, but the Devils were cleaner and sharper in the moments that mattered in a 5-2 loss. Vegas got solid work from Adin Hill, who made several key saves, yet the Knights could not overcome their own turnovers or finish enough of the looks they created as Jack Hughes and Luke Hughes helped drive the Devils attack.
It was another frustrating night in a stretch that has now seen Vegas lose four of five, and the timing is hardly ideal with a four-game East Coast road trip set to begin Monday in Boston. The trip will tell a lot about whether the Knights can steady themselves quickly, because the margin for error has already started to shrink. [Read more 🡒]
