Quinn Hughes has been making the rounds this offseason, and the former Canucks captain’s latest stop put him in the middle of a celebrity-packed FIFA World Cup final in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The ex-Norris Trophy winner has already had a busy stretch away from hockey. He got to the NHL playoffs for just the third time in his career with the Minnesota Wild, then added gold with the United States at the 2026 Olympics. On top of that, he was in Czechia on July 11 for the wedding of former teammate Filip Hronek before heading to the World Cup final one week later.
At the final, Hughes was photographed alongside Hollywood star Jessica Alba, who posted a picture of herself with all three Hughes brothers. The Fantastic Four actor was part of a small crowd of celebrities at the event, and she also shared photos with her boyfriend, Danny Ramirez, and YouTube star Mr. Beast.
Hughes and his brothers weren’t the only hockey names in the building. Another U.S.
Olympic teammate, Dylan Larkin, was filmed down near pitch level during the final. He was there with Trevor Zegras, Cole Caufield, Filip Forsberg and San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.
Larkin’s appearance came during a tense offseason for Detroit. He requested a trade earlier this offseason, but remains with the Red Wings for now.
For now, both Hughes and Larkin are spending their summers in the spotlight, and both are leaving their fan bases with plenty to talk about.
