DeBrusk's Potential Return to Boston
DeBrusk, who spent seven seasons with the Bruins, left for Vancouver in free agency on July 1, 2024. He inked a seven-year deal with the Canucks, which includes a $5.5 million cap hit and a full no-movement clause, meaning he must approve any trade. A return to Boston might offer him the reset he needs.
The idea of DeBrusk returning might seem unexpected, especially given the rocky end to his previous stint in Boston. He faced numerous trade rumors during his time there, which he openly acknowledged.
