USC women’s golf is back in action, and the No. 2 Trojans open the 2026-27 season in a loaded setting at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate from Sept. 7-9 at Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minnesota.
The event is a 54-hole test spread over three rounds, with 18 holes each day. USC and the other 11 teams in the field begin play Monday, Sept. 7 at 7:30 a.m.
PT. Live coverage will be available through Babygrande Golf, and live scoring will run via Scoreboard (Clippd).
The competition is as deep as it gets for an early-season event. Eight of the 12 teams are ranked in both the Golfweek and Golf Channel preseason polls, and seven of the schools in the field reached the NCAA Championships last season. USC’s biggest threats on paper include Wake Forest, Auburn, South Carolina and Big Ten opponents Oregon and UCLA.
Wake Forest enters at No. 6 in Golfweek and No. 7 in Golf Channel. Auburn checks in at No. 8 and No.
9, South Carolina at No. 15 and No. 10, Oregon at No. 12 and No. 11, and UCLA at No. 11 and No.
USC comes in with plenty of continuity after finishing as NCAA runner-up last year. The Trojans bring back four players from that lineup and six total players from a year ago. That group includes All-Americans Kylie Chong, Jasmine Koo, Elise Lee and Bailey Shoemaker, along with sophomores Sarah Hammett and Chloe Kim.
There’s also some preseason recognition already in the mix. Koo and Shoemaker landed on the ANNIKA Award Preseason Watch List earlier this fall, making USC one of only four programs with multiple players on that list.
Head coach Justin Silverstein also added more talent to the roster with blue-chip freshmen Kaili Xiao, Angela Zhang and Sophia Lin. That trio will make its collegiate debut later this fall.
The Trojans’ opening lineup for Royal Golf Club features Bailey Shoemaker, Jasmine Koo, Kylie Chong, Elise Lee and Sarah Hammett.
Royal Golf Club will play to 6,267 yards and a par of 72, with the tournament using a 5-count 4 format. USC’s tee times on Monday run from 7:20 a.m.
PT through 8:00 a.m. PT on hole 1, starting with Sarah Hammett and finishing with Bailey Shoemaker.
The full field includes USC, Auburn, Houston, Kansas State, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, UCLA, Virginia and Wake Forest.

Through the first two games, he has been sharp and decisive, and his performance against Fresno State was especially eye-opening, with 23 completions on 25 attempts for 349 yards and three touchdowns. Lincoln Riley has noticed, too, praising Maiavas understanding of the offense and the arm talent that makes the whole system look like it has another gear.
For USC, the encouraging part is not just the production, but how quickly it has arrived. FanDuel Sportsbook now lists Maiava with the 10th-best Heisman Trophy odds, a reflection of how fast his name has moved into the national conversation.
