UConn’s Big East slate now has a full television map, and the path through conference play starts early.
The league announced Monday afternoon the tip times and TV assignments for the Huskies’ 20 Big East games, giving Dan Hurley’s team a clear view of how the 2025-26 regular season will unfold once conference play begins. UConn already knew the home-and-away opponents, and earlier this month the program laid out how its 17 home games will be split between Gampel Pavilion and PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford.
The conference opener lands Dec. 23, when UConn hosts Georgetown in Hartford at 3 p.m. on Peacock. The regular season wraps up March 6 at Xavier, with that game set for 2:30 p.m. on TNT.
UConn’s league schedule is loaded with national exposure. The Huskies will make six appearances on FOX, including a non-conference matchup with Kansas, and they’ll also face Creighton on NBC on Jan.
- According to UConn, the program has now played 36 games on major broadcast networks - FOX, CBS and NBC - a total that trails only Michigan State, Purdue and Michigan during that span.
Peacock will carry five of UConn’s Big East games, as the streaming platform continues in its expanded role as a major conference partner after the Big East’s six-year media rights deal in 2024. Fans who want to watch those games will need either a Premium subscription at $12.99 per month or a Premium Plus subscription at $19.99 per month.

UConn Looks Like The Big East Favorite But One Concern Lingers
UConn went into the Big East preseason coaches poll as the league favorite, and it is not hard to see why. The Huskies have the kind of profile that usually travels well in this conference, with a proven coach and a roster that gives them a legitimate case to sit atop a league that also has St. Johns, Villanova, Marquette and Providence in the conversation.
Still, the picture is not completely clean, and that is what keeps the race interesting. Around the league, the biggest variables are the usual fall questions of eligibility and health, and UConn is no exception as it tries to turn preseason respect into another title run in 2026-27. The Huskies have the look of the team to beat, but the margin between favorite and contender can shrink fast once the games start. [Read more 🡒]
UConn Just Got A Huge WR Boost Much Sooner Than Expected
Ky Wilsons path back to the field looked like a long one when he tore his ACL during spring practice on March 11 and had surgery on March 23. The original recovery window pointed to seven to nine months, which made his progress through rehab a storyline all by itself as UConn waited to see when one of its receivers might be ready again.
Instead, Wilson was back in full participation against Syracuse and immediately gave the Huskies another option in the passing game. Head coach Jason Candle praised the comeback, and Wilson talked about the work it took to get there and how badly he wanted to return, a reminder that this was about more than simply beating the timeline. UConn Can Finally Exhale As Javon Brown Eyes His Next Step
Javon Browns status has become one of the more reassuring developments for UConn after the wide receiver took a serious hit to his head, neck and shoulder area in the game against Syracuse. Brown was taken to the hospital after the play, and the early concern around the injury naturally put the focus on his health before anything else.
Since then, Brown has returned to the team and is back walking around, with coach Jason Candle saying he is doing well and has shown no neurological issues. UConn is still keeping a close eye on the situation with the medical staff, especially given the uncertainty that can linger with injuries in that part of the body, but for now the program can at least breathe a little easier as Brown moves into his next step.
