Paige Bueckers Stuns with First-Team All-Unrivaled Selection in 3x3 League

Paige Bueckers continues to make waves in the basketball world, earning First-Team All-Unrivaled honors in the 3x3 league as playoffs kick off.

Paige Bueckers continues to dazzle on the court, now adding another accolade to her growing list of achievements. After securing the 2025 WNBA Rookie of the Year award with the Dallas Wings, Bueckers has taken her talents to the 3x3 women's basketball league, where she’s making waves once again.

As the First Round of the playoffs kicks off, Unrivaled announced its prestigious first-team selections, and Bueckers finds herself in elite company alongside seasoned pros Chelsey Gray and Kelsey Plum. The announcement came as a surprise to Bueckers, delivered by Unrivaled commissioner Mickey Lawler in front of her Breeze BC teammates.

"We're here to honor one of your colleagues and present an award for First-Team All-Unrivaled," Lawler stated. "This player, and this team, is new, and what you guys have accomplished as a team is super extraordinary."

Bueckers' team, Breeze BC, boasts a roster filled with promising young talent, including Cameron Brink, Rickea Jackson, and Dominique Malonga. Despite a challenging season, finishing 6-8, they’ve secured a spot in the playoffs, showcasing their potential.

This marks the second consecutive year that a former UConn player has earned First-Team All-Unrivaled honors. Napheesa Collier, the league's co-founder and inaugural MVP, missed out on defending her title due to ankle surgery. Meanwhile, Breanna Stewart, another UConn alum and a standout performer, was notably absent from this year's All-Unrivaled selections, despite ranking sixth in scoring and third in rebounds.

Bueckers has been a force to be reckoned with, ranking fourth in scoring with an average of 22.1 points per game. Her ability to attack defenses from all angles is evident, finishing a remarkable 84.2% of her shots at the rim and shooting over 38% from beyond the arc.

With a focus on drawing more fouls, she has excelled at the free-throw line, tying for the league lead among players attempting at least 1.1 free throws per game with an impressive 94.2% accuracy. Her prowess was further highlighted when she clinched the inaugural $50,000 Unrivaled free-throw contest.

Bueckers’ journey in the 3x3 league is just beginning, and if her current form is any indication, fans can expect more thrilling performances from this basketball phenom.
