Dan Orlovskys Son Returns To ESPN With Something Special

Madden Orlovsky, son of former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky, returns to ESPN to celebrate World Autism Awareness Day with his impressive NFL team logo artwork.

Madden Orlovsky made a heartfelt return to ESPN on Thursday, showcasing his artistic talents in celebration of World Autism Awareness Day. Madden, the 14-year-old son of former UConn and NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky, had his drawings featured on "NFL Live."

Madden, who is autistic, is known for his passion for drawing, a hobby he enjoys at home. His father, now an NFL analyst, expressed pride in Madden's ability to thrive on his own terms. Last year marked Madden's first appearance on "NFL Live," and it was an emotional milestone for the family.

During the show, Madden's drawings of every NFL team logo were displayed, adding a personal touch to the discussions led by Dan, Laura Rutledge, Field Yates, and Adam Schefter.

Dan Orlovsky shared his gratitude, saying, "What I love about it is that it’s his thing. I’m so thankful that ESPN lets me be a part of it. He’s just a special, special human."

Madden also drew portraits of Yates and Schefter, who jokingly asked if Madden could sketch his dad’s infamous moment stepping out of the end zone for a safety in 2008 with the Lions. Dan Orlovsky had a 12-year NFL career, playing for teams like Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, and Tampa Bay.

A passionate Eagles fan, Madden received a special video message from Philadelphia receiver DaVonta Smith, who praised his fandom and gifted him a swag bag. Madden's love for the Eagles was evident as he sang the team's fight song alongside his dad, drawing applause from everyone present.

"Good job, bro," Dan said, visibly moved by the moment. When Madden asked if his dad was crying, Dan replied, "Yeah, because I love you, good job."

Madden concluded by thanking ESPN for the opportunity, expressing his love for drawing, and giving a heartfelt shoutout to his mom and siblings. "I love you, Mom," he said, wrapping up a memorable day.
