As he addressed the crowd during Texas Tech’s pro day, Morton shared his optimistic outlook for the Red Raiders under McGuire's leadership.

Morton, who led Texas Tech to their first-ever Big 12 championship, is confident that the program’s success is just beginning. When asked about the team’s future, Morton didn’t shy away from bold predictions.

He expressed strong belief in McGuire’s ability to lead Texas Tech to multiple championships. “Oh man, a lot of championships for sure,” Morton stated, emphasizing that with McGuire at the helm, winning is on the horizon.
