Colorado’s 2026 home slate at Folsom Field comes with a wide spread in ticket prices, and the biggest draw on the board is clear: Utah. The Buffaloes’ matchup with the Utes is the most expensive home game on the schedule, according to VividSeats, and that fits the billing.
Utah is expected to be Colorado’s toughest opponent on paper, even after losing head coach Kyle Whittingham, and the Utes are bringing back much of their 2025 talent. If Colorado is rolling by the time that game arrives, the price tag could climb even higher before kickoff.
Texas Tech sits right behind Utah in the pecking order, and it’s another game that should have plenty of buzz. The Red Raiders are still loaded despite the departure of anticipated star quarterback Brendan Sorsby due to his gambling scandal, and they also landed the No. 6 transfer class in the country, according to 247Sports. That makes this one of the most intriguing new-look matchups on the Buffs’ home schedule.
There’s a noticeable gap after those top two games, but Kansas State still lands in the expensive tier. The Wildcats have given Colorado trouble over the past two seasons, and that history has helped fuel a budding rivalry between the Buffs and their Big 12 opponents from the Little Apple. Even with that dropoff from the Utah and Texas Tech prices, this one is still among the pricier tickets at Folsom Field.
Houston is another game that could carry some edge in 2026. Colorado hosts the Cougars for homecoming and will be looking to answer a rough road loss from 2025. The schedule has pushed this one to mid-week, which likely affects the cost, but it still projects as a lively night with a strong crowd for the occasion.
At the other end of the spectrum, Colorado’s home opener against Weber State is the cheapest game on the schedule. The Wildcats have finished 4-8 in each of the last two seasons at the FCS level, so this looks like a tune-up for the Buffs’ non-conference slate. Even so, the return of football in Boulder could still help fill the stands.
The least expensive Big 12 home game on Colorado’s schedule is the regular-season finale against UCF. A chilly November setting and low expectations for the Knights have helped keep prices down, though that could change if Colorado exceeds expectations and the game takes on bowl implications. For now, though, it stands as the most affordable conference matchup at Folsom Field.
