Texas Athletics Town Hall Unveils Bold New Vision for Longhorns Future

Texas fans will get a unique chance to hear directly from Athletics Director Chris Del Conte and enjoy exclusive perks at an upcoming Town Hall event.

If you’re a Texas Longhorns fan, mark your calendar - February 4 is shaping up to be more than just another night on the Forty Acres. The annual Texas Athletics Town Hall is back, offering an inside look at the state of Longhorn sports straight from the top. Chris Del Conte, Vice President and Folger Family Athletics Director, will be on hand to share updates, vision, and plans for the future of Texas Athletics - and just as importantly, to hear directly from the fans.

This year’s Town Hall will be held at 6 p.m. CT in the Touchdown Club at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. It’s a unique opportunity for fans to get real-time insights into what’s happening behind the scenes - from facilities upgrades to program developments - and to ask the questions that matter most to Longhorn Nation.

Can’t make it in person? No problem. The event will be streamed live and free on the LHN app, so you can tune in wherever you are.

For those attending in person, access is simple: enter through Gate 16 on the north end of the stadium off DeLoss Dodds Way, then head up to the 8th floor via elevator. And yes, parking is covered - complimentary spots will be available in Manor Garage on a first-come, first-served basis, courtesy of Texas Athletics.

But the night doesn’t end when the Q&A wraps up. After the Town Hall, fans are invited to keep the momentum going at the UT Club for a special post-event Happy Hour.

That’s right - food and beverage specials, photo ops with Hook ‘Em, and a chance to explore one of the most exclusive spots on campus. Admission is free for Town Hall attendees, and for those considering UT Club membership, there’ll be an exclusive discount available that night.

This is more than just a meeting - it’s a night to connect with the heart of Texas Athletics, to celebrate what’s been accomplished, and to look ahead to what’s next. Whether you're a die-hard season ticket holder or a student catching your first glimpse behind the curtain, the Town Hall is your chance to be part of the conversation.
