In a historic triumph for Texas, the Longhorns captured their first ITA Indoors National Championship, with senior standout Sebastian Gorzny earning the title of Most Outstanding Player. This accolade comes as no surprise, considering the impressive performances from the Texas squad, which saw four of their six singles players make the All-Tournament Team.

Gorzny, playing at the No. 1 spot, was a force to be reckoned with, securing three singles wins. His victories included top-15 triumphs over TCU's No.

5 Duncan Chan and Ohio State's No. 13 Aidan Kim, along with a win against Texas A&M's No.

42 Theo Papamalamis. Teaming up with freshman Lucas Marionneau in doubles, Gorzny also contributed to a thrilling tiebreaker win against Ohio State's top-ranked duo, Brandon Carpico and Nikita Filin.

The tournament, held in Dallas and Waco, saw Texas dispatch formidable opponents: No. 8 Texas A&M in the round of 16, No.

5 TCU in the quarterfinals, No. 19 Baylor in the semifinals, and finally, No.

2 Ohio State in the championship match.

Freshman Ivanovski was another standout, delivering three ranked victories, including a pivotal win over Ohio State's No. 22 Preston Stearns, which clinched the championship for Texas.

His other victories came against TCU's No. 49 Cosme Rolland De Ravel and Baylor's No.

106 Zsombor Velcz.

Sophomore Sebastian Eriksson also shone brightly, securing wins against Baylor's No. 99 Alexandru Chirita, Texas A&M's Kholo Montsi, and TCU's Oliver Bonding.

Meanwhile, Marionneau, competing at No. 6, contributed crucial victories over Ohio State's No. 98 Filin, Texas A&M's Togan Tokac, and Baylor's Louis Bowden, clinching the matches against both the Aggies and the Bears.
