In a thrilling display at the SEC Championships, the No. 3 women's swimming and diving team made waves on day three, with Campbell Stoll stealing the spotlight in the 200-yard butterfly. Stoll's stellar performance at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center saw her clock an impressive 1:50.60, earning her a well-deserved spot atop the podium.
Stoll's journey to victory began in the preliminaries, where she secured second place with a time of 1:53.36, setting the stage for her final showdown. In the finals, she shaved off nearly three seconds, showcasing her speed with a blazing 51.89 split in the opening 100 yards. Her triumph marked the Longhorns' third gold and sixth overall medal of the competition.
The Longhorns also shone in the 100-yard backstroke, with Sienna Schellenger and Sarah Rodrigues taking second and third in the consolation final, clocking in at 52.37 and 52.44, respectively. Emma Kern held her own in the championship final, finishing fifth and matching her prelim time.
In the 100-yard breaststroke, Piper Enge delivered a solid performance, securing seventh place in the championship final with a time of 59.77.
As the competition progresses, Texas finds itself in a tight race for the top spot, sitting in second place with 345 points, just behind Tennessee, who leads with 377 points.
Anticipation builds for day four of the 2026 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships, kicking off at 8:30 a.m. CT with prelims in the 100-yard butterfly, 400 IM, and 200-yard freestyle.
The women's 3-meter springboard prelims follow at 11 a.m. CT, leading into the consolation final.
