Campbell Stoll Shines as No. 3 Team Grabs Five Medals at SEC Championships

The No. 3 Women's Swimming and Diving team made waves with five medal wins, led by Campbell Stoll's standout performance, at the SEC Championships.

In Knoxville, the No. 3-ranked Women's Swimming and Diving team made waves on day four of the SEC Championships, racking up five podium finishes. The standout performance came from Campbell Stoll, who clinched the 100-yard butterfly, completing her sweep of the fly events this week. With these victories, the Longhorns have now amassed an impressive 11 medals, including four golds, at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center.

The evening kicked off with a bang as two Longhorns landed in the top four of the 100-yard butterfly. Campbell Stoll led the charge, clocking in at 50.71 to secure her second gold of the meet. Eva Okaro wasn't far behind, finishing fourth with a time of 50.35, narrowly missing the podium by just .20 seconds.

In the 400 IM, Angie Coe delivered a stellar performance, earning silver with a time of 4:03.94. She impressively shaved 4.50 seconds off her prelim time. Campbell Chase also showed strong form, finishing sixth with a time of 4:09.45.

The 200-yard freestyle saw three Longhorns in the top five, with Nikolett Padar leading the way to a silver medal in 1:41.75. Erin Gemmell and Lillie Nesty followed closely, placing fourth and fifth with times of 1:43.11 and 1:43.15, respectively.

Diving into the action, Alejandra Estudillo claimed silver on the 3-meter board with a score of 378.80. Her performance was highlighted by a 70.50 on her reverse 2 1/2 somersault pike and a 68.20 on her forward 3 1/2 somersault pike, securing her spot on the podium.

The Longhorns wrapped up the night with a second-place finish in the relay, clocking in at 3:26.76, thanks to the combined efforts of Emma Kern, Piper Enge, Campbell Stoll, and Eva Okaro.

As the championships progress, Texas sits comfortably in first place with 718 points. The action continues on Friday, Feb. 20, with prelims in the 200-yard breaststroke, 50-yard freestyle, and 500-yard freestyle starting at 8:30 a.m.
