Texas A&M fans have already gotten a first look at the 2026 Aggies in EA Sports College Football 27, and the game is about to get a bigger roster shake-up. EA Sports is set to push an update on Thursday that adds more than 1,900 players, including several new Aggies.
Texas A&M comes into the game as an 86 overall, tied for the fourth-best team in the SEC. The top name on the roster is wide receiver Mario Craver, who checks in at 91 overall. Right behind him are safeties Dalton Brooks and Marcus Ratcliffe, both rated 89 overall.
Among the newly added Aggies, the highest rating belongs to freshman wide receiver Brown at 77 overall, where he is tied with fellow true freshman wideout Aaron Gregory. Brown arrived in College Station as a four-star prospect in the 2026 recruiting class, ranked the No. 45 wide receiver in Texas and the No. 56 wide receiver nationally. He closed out his final two seasons at Legacy School of Sport Sciences with 147 catches for 2,869 yards and 35 touchdowns.
Brown’s rating stands out because the rest of the new additions are mostly clustered lower, which makes sense given how many of them are freshmen. Still, it’s a solid nod for a player trying to carve out space in a crowded Texas A&M receiver room.
Two freshman tight ends, Evan Jacobson and Caleb Tafua, are next at 76 overall. Jacobson, who also plays on the Texas A&M basketball team, came out of Waukee, Iowa, as a four-star prospect and the No. 12 tight end in the 2026 class. Tafua, who heads to College Station from Mesa, AZ, was also a four-star recruit, ranked No. 31 at his position and No. 7 in Arizona.
The rest of the new Aggies added in the update sit at 75 or 74 overall. Tamarion Watkins, a freshman linebacker, and Tylan Wilson, a freshman safety, are both at 75 overall. At 74 overall are sophomore cornerback Jamar Beal-Goines, sophomore safety Tom Tom Johnson Jr., junior wide receiver Jonah Wilson, and junior offensive lineman Isendre Ahfua.
