Texas A&M is sticking with what’s worked through the first two weeks.
The Aggies released their Week 3 depth chart Monday afternoon ahead of their SEC opener against Kentucky, and there are no changes to the starting lineup from the group that handled Arizona State. Texas A&M is 2-0 and will face the Wildcats at Kyle Field.
Even with the same starters in place, the chart still shows plenty of competition for roles. There are 10 “ORs” on offense and seven more on defense, a sign that several spots are still up for grabs as the season moves along.
That top group has opened the year in strong fashion, including a 48-20 win over Arizona State last Saturday, Texas A&M’s first game against a power conference opponent this season. The defense helped turn that one into a comfortable finish, with two pick-sixes in the fourth quarter helping the Aggies pull away.
The offense didn’t exactly overwhelm the Sun Devils statistically. Arizona State outgained Texas A&M 369-255, while Marcell Reed threw for 163 yards, one interception and three touchdowns. Rueben Owens II led the ground game with 35 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.
Kentucky comes in looking to regroup after a 45-17 loss to Alabama. The Wildcats were ahead at halftime before the game flipped in the second half, when they were outscored 32-0.
Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised on ESPN.

Texas A&M Still Has One Offensive Problem Before SEC Play
Two weeks into the 2026 season, Texas A&M is still unbeaten, but the offense has not looked fully settled heading into SEC play. Marcel Reeds passing production has been the biggest talking point, and the Aggies have not gotten enough consistent help through the air to make the unit feel as dangerous as it needs to be. Injuries have played a part, and the tight end group has not provided much lift either, leaving the passing game with more questions than answers.
That puts extra focus on offensive coordinator Holmon Wiggins as the league schedule arrives. Texas A&M needs more out of its receivers, especially Isaiah Horton, Mario Craver and Ashton Bethel-Roman, if the offense is going to keep pace once the competition stiffens.
