Emma Raducanu Stuns Fans With Major Sponsorship Change Ahead of Indian Wells

Emma Raducanu makes a bold move from Nike to Uniqlo, set to possibly unveil her new partnership attire at Indian Wells.

Emma Raducanu is shaking things up just in time for the Sunshine Double. The 2021 US Open champion has parted ways with Nike, her long-time apparel sponsor, to become the first female tennis player to sign with Uniqlo.

This move follows some offseason buzz when Raducanu was seen trying out a Yonex racquet, although she ultimately decided to stick with Wilson for her matches. The switch to Uniqlo had been rumored since December, with tennis insider Craig Shapiro suggesting Raducanu could earn over $3 million annually from the Japanese brand, known for backing tennis legends like Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Kei Nishikori.

Uniqlo made the announcement official on Monday, initially teasing the news with a social media post featuring a female player in blue and red tennis gear. It wasn’t long before they unveiled Raducanu as their new star.

In their announcement, Uniqlo highlighted that Emma will embody their LifeWear philosophy, focusing on excellence, societal contributions, and inspiring the next generation.
