Vols Grind Out Road Win As One Arkansas Moment Steals Attention

A Tennessee-Arkansas clash turns viral sensation after a captivating fan moment steals the spotlight from a thrilling SEC game.

A crowd shot from Saturday’s Tennessee-Arkansas game is making the rounds on X after the SEC broadcast camera found a fan in the stands during the action.

The clip comes from Tennessee’s 24-17 win over Arkansas at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, where the game kicked off at 3:15 p.m. CT on the SEC Network. In the video, a woman with long brown hair, sunglasses resting on her head and a red beaded necklace turns to the side, adjusts her hair, then looks back toward the camera after a big third down stop.

“Get these camera guys a raise,” the caption read. “SEC camera guy know the assignment” and “these camera men deserve a raise!”, another account wrote.

The scoreboard graphic places the moment in the second quarter with Tennessee up 7-0 and 8:07 left. That matches the flow of the game, since Tennessee’s touchdown came with 10:03 remaining in the quarter. The timing lined up, unlike the one from this Miami Hurricanes post that drew criticism for being totally off.

The score stayed 7-0 until halftime before Arkansas answered after the break. The Razorbacks tied it at 7 and later moved ahead 14-7, but Tennessee came back again. Max Gilbert’s field goal pulled the Vols even at 17 in the fourth quarter, and DeSean Bishop followed with an eight-yard touchdown run with 1:57 left.

Bishop finished with 19 carries for 138 yards. George MacIntyre, making his first career start at quarterback, went 18-of-29 for 247 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.

The win pushed No. 15 Tennessee to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in SEC play. Arkansas dropped to 2-4 and 0-3 in conference action.

Saturday’s slate also produced another viral camera moment when a Texas fan’s reaction spread after Oklahoma’s late field goal beat the Longhorns in the Red River Rivalry.

Tennessee returns home next Saturday to face Alabama at Neyland Stadium on Oct. 17.

Tennessee Defense Could Catch A Huge Break Against Alabama

Alabamas offensive line picture has become a little murkier heading into the Tennessee matchup after center Racin Delgatty went down with a lower-body injury in a recent game. His status for Saturday is still uncertain, and that matters for a Volunteers defense looking to keep pressure on a Crimson Tide front that may have to adjust on the fly.

If Delgatty is sidelined, Alabama would likely turn to backup Mal Waldrep in the middle, a spot Tennessee will be watching closely. Xavier Gilliam has been one of the Vols more reliable defensive players this season, and any instability up front could give him and the rest of the defense a better chance to win key snaps in the trenches. Tennessee Alabama Just Got Even Bigger In Knoxville

The buildup around Tennessees showdown with Alabama just picked up another layer, with SEC Nation set to spend Saturday morning in Knoxville before the Vols and Crimson Tide kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC. The pregame show will air from 9 a.m. to noon on SEC Network, giving the campus a full-day spotlight ahead of one of the seasons biggest SEC matchups.

The setting should feel as big as the stakes, with Neyland Stadium already sold out and fans expected to pour in early for a rare chance to make a long Saturday of it. Tennessee is also sweetening the game-day experience with half-price concessions for the first hour after gates open, which figures to help fuel the kind of atmosphere the Vols hope to ride once the broadcast lights move from campus to the stadium. Tennessee Alabama Weekend Just Got Even Bigger On Rocky Top

The buildup to Tennessees matchup with Alabama is getting an extra dose of spotlight, with SEC Network bringing its SEC Nation pregame show to campus ahead of the game. The broadcast will originate outside Ayers Hall and include the SEC Nation crew along with additional ESPN personalities, giving Rocky Top an added stage in a week already carrying plenty of SEC weight.

The campus presence does not stop there, either, with the network making the rivalry weekend feel even bigger around Knoxville. The Volunteers and Crimson Tide will also both take the field in their home uniforms under a two-year agreement, setting up a look the series has not seen since 1970 and adding another layer to one of the leagues marquee games.
