Tennessee is making significant strides in building its 2027 football signing class, with a keen eye on four-star running back Tyson Robinson. This talented athlete from Brandon High School in Mississippi is catching the attention of top programs across the nation.
Standing at 5-foot-10 and weighing 199 pounds, Robinson is a force on the field. According to 247Sports, he's ranked as the No. 4 running back and the No. 4 player in Mississippi for his class. It's no wonder Tennessee is eager to have him on board.
Robinson has planned a visit to Tennessee from June 19-21, adding to his itinerary that includes stops at Arizona State and Mississippi State. His connection with Tennessee is already strong, having received a scholarship offer from them back on March 8, 2024. Since then, he's made seven unofficial visits, with his latest being for the game against Oklahoma on November 1, 2025.
Oregon was the trailblazer, offering Robinson his first scholarship on November 25, 2023. Since then, a slew of Power Four schools have lined up with offers, including heavyweights like Alabama, Ohio State, and Florida, among others.
Tennessee's recruiting efforts are already shaping up nicely with commitments from linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, and quarterback Derrick Baker. Adding Robinson to this mix could elevate the class to new heights, making Tennessee a formidable contender in the coming years.
