Two Beloved Former Vols Just Shared A Life Update Fans Will Love

Celebrated former Tennessee athletes Kiki Milloy and Grant Williams welcome a new chapter as they announce the arrival of their baby girl, blending sports successes with family joy.

Former Tennessee standouts Kiki Milloy and Grant Williams announced the birth of their daughter on Oct. 11.

Milloy shared the news in a joint Instagram post with Williams, writing, "Welcome to the world baby girl,"

The announcement adds another milestone for a pair of former Volunteers who have stayed connected to Tennessee well beyond their college days. Milloy, now a professional softball player with the Atlanta Smoke, and Williams, who is in the NBA with the Charlotte Hornets, got engaged in April.

The couple also made a return trip to campus last year, visiting their alma mater together and taking in the Tennessee football game against ETSU.

Milloy left Tennessee in 2024 after a record-setting run in Knoxville. In 2023, she put together one of the best seasons in program history, setting the Tennessee single-season marks for home runs with 25 and runs scored with 85.

Both numbers led Division I. She also finished her career with 69 home runs, passing the previous program record of 57.

The two-time NFCA All-American helped push the Lady Vols back to the Women’s College World Series in 2023 for the first time since 2015.

That season also earned Milloy another distinction: she was named the Knox News Sportsperson of the Year in 2023 after becoming the first softball player to receive the Tennessee Torchbearer award.

Williams built his own Tennessee legacy from 2016-19, becoming a two-time SEC Player of the Year as a sophomore and junior. He was the first Vol to win the award in consecutive seasons since 1995 and the only player in program history besides Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Bernard King to earn it as an underclassman.

He went on to become a first-round pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, going No. 22 overall to the Boston Celtics. Williams has made 364 appearances across the Boston Celtics, the Dallas Mavericks and the Charlotte Hornets, with 101 starts.

Former Vol Nico Iamaleava Faces Brutal Setback At UCLA

Nico Iamaleavas first season at UCLA had given the Bruins enough reason to believe they had their quarterback answer, with the former Tennessee starter settling in after his transfer and putting himself back on the radar for NFL evaluators. Through the fall, he had completed 62.1% of his passes for 982 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions, a solid enough body of work to keep the conversation around his future moving in the right direction.

Then came the knee injury in UCLAs win over Oregon, a setback that is expected to cost him the rest of the 2026 season and abruptly changes the outlook for both the Bruins and the former Vol. Iamaleava still has one year of eligibility left, but now his next steps will have to wait, leaving Tennessee fans and UCLA alike to wonder how much ground he can make up once he gets back on the field. Georgia Fans Will Notice What Alabama Just Lost After That Game

Alabama came out of its loss to Georgia with more than just a blemish in the standings. The Crimson Tide also appear to be down one of their wide receivers for at least the immediate future, with coach Kalen DeBoer saying Ryan Coleman-Williams is unlikely to be available against Tennessee after picking up multiple injuries in that game.

Coleman-Williams was hurt on both his leg and head against Georgia, and Alabama is now treating the situation week to week. If he is out, the Tide would have to sort through a committee approach at receiver, another wrinkle Tennessee will keep an eye on as the rivalry matchup gets closer. [Read more 🡒]

Tennessee Faces One Huge QB Decision Before Alabama Arrives

Josh Heupel still has not settled the biggest question hanging over Tennessees trip to Alabama, and the timing only adds to the intrigue. George MacIntyre gave the Volunteers a promising first look in his first career start against Arkansas, completing 18 of 29 passes for 247 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions, and his composure and willingness to push the ball downfield stood out in a spot where Tennessee needed answers.

Faizon Brandon remains part of the conversation as he works back from injury, but he was less effective in recent games, leaving the Vols with a decision that carries obvious weight heading into one of the SECs toughest stages. For Tennessee, this is about more than simply naming a starter. It is about finding the quarterback who can best steady the offense when Alabama is waiting, and Heupel has not yet said which way he is leaning. [Read more 🡒]
