Tennessee Vols Amp Up Intensity in Chilly Spring Practice Session

Tennessee's football team ramps up its physicality in chilly conditions, navigating construction challenges at Haslam Field.

Braving the chilly Knoxville morning, the Tennessee Volunteers took to Haslam Field for their third spring practice, undeterred by the cold. With helmets and shoulder pads on, the Vols ramped up the intensity and physicality, moving beyond the initial workouts in just helmets and shorts. The ongoing construction at the Anderson Training Center means Tennessee's outdoor practice setup currently features two full-length fields and a 15,000-square foot turf area adjacent to the indoor field.

Following Thursday’s practice, insights will be shared by new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles and six promising freshmen: offensive tackles Gabriel Osenda and Kamari Blair, wide receiver TK Keys, linebackers Brayden Rouse and TJ White, and safety Joel Wyatt. The anticipation is high as these fresh faces look to make their mark on the team.
