Tennessee Signees Set to Shine in First-Ever Iverson Classic Showdown

Tennessee basketball's rising stars Ralph Scott and Manny Green are set to shine on the international stage in the Iverson Classic, showcasing the programs promising future prospects.

In a groundbreaking twist for the Iverson Classic, two of Tennessee basketball's promising recruits are set to showcase their skills on an international stage. This year marks the debut of the Team USA vs. Team World format, adding a fresh dynamic to the decade-old high school All-American event.

Ralph Scott, a standout from Bermuda, will represent Team World. Playing his prep basketball at IMG Academy, Scott is poised to make history as the first men's college basketball player from Bermuda.

His journey to Tennessee began with his commitment in September, choosing the Vols over strong programs like Houston, Purdue, and Texas A&M. Standing at 6-foot-8, Scott is a formidable wing, earning a four-star recruit status and ranking as the No. 53 player nationally, according to the 247sports composite rankings.

He’s also recognized as the No. 22 small forward in his class. Reflecting on his decision, Scott shared, “On the visit, I just felt a really good environment.

The coaching staff is amazing, and I felt a real connection with Coach Barnes.”

On the other side, Manny Green, hailing from Atlanta, will don the Team USA jersey. Green committed to Tennessee over Auburn, Cal, Georgia Tech, and South Florida.

The 6-foot-6 guard is also a four-star recruit, ranked as the No. 137 player in the country by 247sports composite rankings. However, 247sports' own evaluation places him higher, as the No. 100 overall player in the 2026 class and the No. 4 player in Georgia.

Green expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “It’s the right spot because they have a good opportunity. High power four, elite program.

It fits me and the grit that I play with.”

Joining these two in Tennessee's 2026 recruiting class is Marquis Clark, a three-star point guard. Together, this trio has propelled the Vols’ signing class to No. 23 nationally and No. 7 in the SEC, according to 247sports team rankings.

Basketball fans can catch the much-anticipated Iverson Classic Team USA vs. Team World game on May 2 in Hampton, Virginia. This event promises to be a thrilling showcase of young talent, with Scott and Green leading the charge for their respective teams.
