Tennessee football keeps showing up where the biggest recruiting audiences are, and now the Vols have three of the five most-viewed live commitments in 247Sports history.
That nugget came from 247 multimedia manager Aaron Grisham on X, and the list says plenty about how much attention Tennessee draws when a major prospect makes a decision in real time. Class of 2026 quarterback Faizon Brandon sits third with 40,000 views.
Class of 2025 offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. is fourth at 39,000. And 2027 running back David Gabriel Georges, who chose Tennessee over Ohio State on Wednesday, checks in fifth with 37,000 views.

The three commitments have one thing in common beyond the view counts: all were five-star prospects and the top-rated pledge in their respective Tennessee classes. Even more striking, Tennessee landed them in back-to-back-to-back years. After Gabriel Georges’ commitment earlier this week, the Vols have now signed at least one top-11 five-star prospect in five straight classes.
Brandon’s commitment was a big one for Tennessee when he picked the Vols over Alabama, LSU, and NC State in August 2024. He quickly became a centerpiece of Tennessee’s highly rated 2026 class, and he’s set to be a true freshman this fall. Right now, Brandon is in a starting quarterback battle with redshirt freshman George MacIntyre and Colorado transfer Ryan Staub.
247Sports lists Brandon as the 12th highest-rated Tennessee commit of all time.
Sanders made his decision in August 2024 too, choosing Tennessee over Ohio State, Georgia, and Nebraska. Though he was one class ahead of Brandon, his commitment actually came two weeks after Brandon’s.
Sanders dealt with an injury early in his true freshman season last year, then pushed his way into a starting job around the middle of the year. He’s expected to be a major part of Tennessee’s offensive line this season.
247Sports ranks Sanders as the fourth highest-rated Tennessee Football commit of all time.
Gabriel Georges is the newest name on the list, and he gave Tennessee another major win on Wednesday evening when he verbally pledged to the Vols over Ohio State and Ole Miss. The five-star running back gives Tennessee a dynamic offensive piece for the 2027 season, and his skill set could put him in the mix for a role during his true freshman year next season.
Gabriel Georges is Tennessee’s 10th all-time best recruit on 247Sports.
