The Tennessee Volunteers hit the field Monday morning, kicking off their spring practice with a session inside the Neyland-Thompson Sports Center. Despite some early storms in the Knoxville area, the Vols were ready to roll, donning helmets and shorts for their first workout.
Coach Josh Heupel and his squad spent just over an hour on the field, with three periods open to the media. It was the first of 15 spring practices leading up to the highly anticipated Orange and White Game on April 11 at Neyland Stadium.
The team is set to continue their preparations with practices on Tuesday morning, and additional sessions on Thursday and Saturday. Fans can get a glimpse of Monday's action through the photo gallery capturing the team's efforts.
