Tennessee is putting a corporate logo on its game-day look, becoming the latest school to add a jersey patch through a sponsorship deal.
The Volunteers will wear a First Horizon Bank patch in football and across a wide range of Olympic sports, including volleyball, soccer, track and field, golf, tennis, cross country, swimming and diving, and rowing. ESPN reported the agreement is worth $120 million over 10 years, and Pete Thamel noted that it is separate from men’s and women’s basketball.
In a school release, athletic director Danny White pointed to the long-running relationship between the two sides.
“For more than 30 years, First Horizon has been an indispensable partner to Tennessee Athletics, and we are proud to extend this remarkable collaboration,” Tennessee athletic director Danny White said in a school release. “In this dynamic era of college athletics, we are confident in First Horizon’s ability to provide the resources and leadership needed to keep our programs competitive while safeguarding the integrity of our brand and uniforms. The First Horizon name is synonymous with excellence, vision, and a commitment to progress, values that mirror those of Tennessee Athletics.”
Tennessee also said First Horizon is “the official Bank of the Vols since 1993” and called the company the first jersey patch sponsor for @Vol_Football.
The move comes as Tennessee opens the 2026 season against Furman on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET. The Vols are back in Adidas uniforms and will also wear a helmet sticker honoring Dolly Parton this season.

Tennessees Home Opener Just Got More Intriguing Than Fans Expected
