Tennessee Athletics is getting the SEC Network spotlight this week, with the channel set to devote 24 straight hours to Big Orange programming on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
The conference network is using the run-up to 2026 SEC Football Media Day to showcase different schools across the league, and Tennessee will be the focus for a full day. The slate includes 10 games or events, plus an inside look at UT football’s spring practice.
The lineup stretches across a wide range of Tennessee sports: football, men’s basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, rowing and women’s golf. One notable omission from the schedule is Lady Vols basketball, which will not be re-aired.
Men’s basketball and softball are the only programs with multiple appearances in the daylong window, which fits with how far each team pushed into the postseason. The basketball team reached the Elite Eight for a third straight year, while softball came one game shy of the national championship.
The SEC Network takeover begins at midnight ET Wednesday and rolls through the day before Tennessee football takes its turn in the spotlight again at SEC Media Day. Josh Heupel and the Vols are scheduled to speak Monday, July 20, in Tampa, Florida, on the first day of the event.
