The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine is in full swing at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, and Tennessee football is well-represented with seven Volunteers showcasing their skills. The Combine, a key event for NFL hopefuls, runs through Sunday, with each position group taking turns in the spotlight.
Tennessee’s lineup includes quarterback Joey Aguilar, defensive linemen Joshua Josephs and Bryson Eason, defensive backs Colton Hood and Jermod McCoy, tight end Miles Kitselman, and wide receiver Chris Brazzell II. These athletes are not just attending; they're making waves.
On Thursday, Josephs and Eason joined the defensive line group on the field. Both have been stalwarts for the Vols, playing their entire college careers at Rocky Top.
Joining them was Kitselman, who has been a force since transferring in 2024, racking up 48 receptions for 554 yards and six touchdowns. His physicality has been a game-changer in the run game.
The Vols are aiming to continue their tradition of producing top-tier cornerbacks. Hood and McCoy, though they never shared the field, made significant impacts during their single seasons at Tennessee.
Both earned All-SEC honors and were semifinalists for the Thorpe Award. McCoy, recovering from a knee injury, is still in talks with teams and will participate in Tennessee's Pro Day on March 31.
Meanwhile, Hood is set to work out with the cornerbacks on Friday.
Aguilar, a standout quarterback, is also meeting with teams. His time at Tennessee may have been short, but it was impactful.
Leading the SEC with 274.2 passing yards per game, Aguilar excelled in conference play, averaging 310.9 yards. He accumulated 3,666 yards of total offense and was instrumental in Tennessee's high-powered offense, which ranked sixth in scoring and seventh in total offense nationally.
Wide receiver Chris Brazzell II is aiming to become the seventh Tennessee receiver drafted in as many years. Leading the SEC with 84.8 receiving yards per game and nine touchdown catches, Brazzell was the only SEC player to surpass 1,000 receiving yards in the regular season.
His versatility and complete route-running ability make him a compelling prospect. He’ll showcase his skills on Saturday.
The 2026 NFL Draft is set for April 23-25 in Pittsburgh, and these Tennessee athletes are poised to make their mark.
