Kellan Hall Stuns Fans by Scheduling Visit to Tennessee Football

Rising defensive star Kellan Hall explores his college options, with Tennessee aiming to make a lasting impression on the class of 2028 standout.

Tennessee is gearing up for its 2028 football signing class with some exciting prospects on the horizon. Among them is four-star defensive lineman Kellan Hall, who has scheduled a visit to Tennessee on March 28. This isn't just any visit-Hall is also making stops at powerhouse programs like Oklahoma, Missouri, Notre Dame, Kentucky, Ohio State, Indiana, Georgia, Louisville, and Virginia Tech.

Standing tall at 6-foot-4 and weighing in at 265 pounds, Hall hails from Christian Academy of Louisville in Kentucky. He's not just a big name in his home state; 247Sports ranks him as the No. 2 defensive lineman in the class and the top player in Kentucky.

Tennessee has been on Hall's radar for a while. The Vols offered him a scholarship during a spring practice visit on April 11, 2025. Hall has already visited Tennessee four times, with his latest trip being for the game against Oklahoma on November 1, 2025.

Kentucky was ahead of the pack, being the first to offer Hall a scholarship back on May 15, 2024. Since then, a slew of other schools have joined the chase, including Miami University, Michigan, Vanderbilt, Toledo, Southern Miss, Eastern Kentucky, Sacramento State, Alabama, SMU, Memphis, Wisconsin, Maryland, Arkansas, and Nebraska.

As of now, Tennessee hasn't locked in any commitments for their 2028 class. However, they’ve already secured four promising recruits for 2027: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, and quarterback Derrick Baker. The Vols are clearly building for the future, and adding Hall to their ranks could be a game-changer.
