Tennessee Football kicked off preparations for the 2026 season with practices on Monday and Tuesday in Knoxville. The Vols are gearing up over the next four weeks, all leading to the much-anticipated Orange & White spring game on April 11 at Neyland Stadium.
The Vols’ social media team gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the practices, featuring Mic’d Up sessions with head coach Josh Heupel and the new co-defensive coordinator, Anthony Poindexter. Heupel is entering his sixth season at the helm, bringing his dynamic approach to the team once again. Meanwhile, Poindexter, part of the recent coaching shake-up, joined from Penn State and will be co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach alongside Jim Knowles.
After a day off on Wednesday, the Vols will hit the practice field again on Thursday, continuing their journey toward the new season.
