Tennessee football is buzzing with excitement as they gear up for the annual Orange & White Game, a highlight of their spring practice schedule. This year, fans have an extra reason to celebrate: Alontae Taylor, one of the standout players from the Josh Heupel Era, will be making an appearance.
Mark your calendars for April 11, 2026, at 2 p.m. ET for this much-anticipated event.
While entrance is free, fans should note that some areas will be off-limits due to ongoing construction. Specifically, seating in sections G through Q and GG through QQ won't be available.
Under Heupel’s leadership, Tennessee’s spring games have taken on various formats. Although the specifics for this year haven’t been disclosed, if history is any guide, expect more of an exhibition feel. The offense and defense will likely sport different colors, and while the score will be kept, it won’t be a traditional team-versus-team setup.
Alontae Taylor, now a Tennessee Titan, is returning to his roots. After signing as a free agent, he’s just a short drive from his college stomping grounds.
Last season with the Saints, Taylor showcased his skills with 83 tackles, two sacks, and two interceptions over 17 games. His solid performance earned him a PFF grade of 63.8.
Taylor’s journey at Tennessee spanned from 2018 to 2021, playing under both Jeremy Pruitt and Heupel. His college career was marked by 162 tackles, four interceptions, a pick-six, and a fumble recovery for a touchdown. These accomplishments paved the way for his second-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, going 49th overall to New Orleans.
Fans are eager to see how the Vols will shape up this spring, and Taylor’s presence will surely add to the excitement.
