Former Tennessee wide receiver Chris Brazzell was carted off during a Carolina Panthers training camp practice on Tuesday after what appeared to be a non-contact knee injury.
Brazzell was working through a 7-on-7 drill when things went wrong and he was seen grabbing his knee. Local beat reporters said he was unable to put any pressure on his left leg, and the Panthers eventually brought out a cart to take him back to the locker room.

As of this writing, there has been no further update on the rookie wideout, and both Carolina and Tennessee fans are waiting for news.
Brazzell is in his first training camp with the Panthers after being selected in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft. He was viewed by many as a sleeper pick, and his college production helped explain why Carolina was willing to take the shot.
After spending his first two seasons at Tulane, Brazzell transferred to Tennessee and quickly became one of the most electric players on the field. In 2024, he finished with 29 receptions for 333 yards and two touchdowns. He took another big step in 2025, piling up 62 catches for 1,017 yards and nine touchdowns.
His biggest moment came against Georgia last season. Tennessee lost that game, but Brazzell put on a show with six catches for 177 yards and three touchdowns. Through three quarters, he had already posted five receptions for 162 yards and three scores.
Brazzell had missed the previous two practices before the injury on Tuesday, and there is now real concern that the knee issue could keep him out for an extended stretch.
