Titans Reveal Inside Look At New Stadium Feature Fans Havent Seen

Get an exclusive preview of the state-of-the-art features in the highly anticipated, $2.2 billion Nissan Stadium set to redefine the Tennessee Titans' home turf by 2027.

The Tennessee Titans gave the media a sneak peek at their upcoming Nissan Stadium, which is set to open its doors in 2027. This state-of-the-art facility, with a price tag of $2.2 billion, is shaping up to be more than just a football stadium. It's a future hub for concerts and a variety of events, promising to elevate the fan experience to a whole new level.

Team president Burke Nihill shared some exciting upgrades that highlight how this new venue will outshine the current Nissan Stadium, which will be retired after the 2026 season. One of the standout features?

The new stadium will boast 44 escalators, a massive leap from the mere four in the current setup. Elevators are getting an upgrade too, with 27 planned compared to the existing six.

Fans will also enjoy a sprawling two-story team store, covering about 11,000 square feet, along with three additional satellite locations for more shopping convenience. The Titans' locker room is getting a major facelift, offering more space and privacy with 68 lockers, each 50% larger than those in the current stadium.

A significant milestone for the construction is the installation of the roof, expected to happen between September and October. This will pave the way for a unique tribute to Tennessee high school football. The stadium's 300 level will feature helmet decals from every high school football program in the state, proudly displayed on a massive wall in the concourse area.

One of the most anticipated features is the 360-degree view of the playing field available from all levels, a marked improvement over the current stadium's limited lower-level views.

The Titans aim to have the stadium ready by February 2027, with the first events potentially kicking off by April 2027. This new venue is set to redefine the game-day experience, making it a must-visit destination for sports and entertainment fans alike.
