The Titans may still be weeks away from the start of training camp, but Peter Skoronski is already getting the kind of attention that usually comes with a bigger payday.
Tennessee has already exercised Skoronski’s fifth-year option, and a long-term extension has been viewed as one of the team’s offseason priorities since the combine. After the Titans locked up Jeffery Simmons on a record-setting deal, Skoronski’s next contract feels like the next logical move.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler put that momentum into sharper focus by including Skoronski in his Top 10 interior offensive linemen rankings. Skoronski checked in at No. 9, making his debut on the list after previously landing as an honorable mention last year.

What stands out is how much Skoronski has climbed despite playing on an offense that has struggled for three seasons. He has taken a step forward every year, and in 2025 he finished fourth among guards in pass block win rate at 96.0%.
The early criticism around Skoronski centered on a perceived lack of explosiveness and power, but evaluators now say that part of his game has improved as well.
"He's absolutely jumped to elite status," an NFC executive said. "He's going to get paid a lot more money than people think."
Over the past two seasons, Skoronski has been Tennessee’s best offensive lineman, and he has continued to develop into a leader for the group. With training camp approaching, he’s positioned to keep rising - and to get the recognition that’s been building for a while.
