The Titans are locking in one of the key pieces of their offensive rebuild.
Tennessee signed guard Peter Skoronski to a multiyear contract extension on Friday, the team announced. The terms were not disclosed.
Skoronski entered the league as the No. 11 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft after Tennessee took him out of Northwestern. The Titans had already committed to him for the long haul earlier this offseason by picking up his fifth-year option, a move that keeps him in Tennessee through the 2027 season.
The extension fits the way Tennessee has been building this roster for years. Since 2022, the Titans have used a first-round pick on an offensive player every season, and Skoronski is part of that run. He’s also one of the more established pieces in the group: he’s the starting left guard, while 2024 first-round pick JC Latham is projected to start at right tackle.
Tennessee’s first-round spending spree on offense has continued into the last two drafts and beyond. In 2025, the Titans took quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 pick and followed that by selecting wide receiver Carnell Tate with the No. 4 pick in this year’s draft. The club also had another first-rounder in 2026 and used it on defensive lineman Keldric Faulk.
With Robert Saleh now in charge, the Titans are trying to move forward after three straight postseason trips from 2019 to 2021 gave way to a rough stretch. Tennessee has missed the playoffs in each of the past four seasons and is coming off back-to-back three-win years.
Skoronski has been one of the steadier players through it all. He started 14 games as a rookie in 2023 and then played all 17 games in each of the last two seasons. For a team that has not had many clear positives lately, Tennessee made sure one of its most reliable linemen will stay in place for years.
